Immigration Barely a Blurb in House GOP Leadership's "Pledge to America"

Comprehensive Enforcement Must Be Part of Goal to Stimulate Economy

Send us your Questions or Comments About Immigration

Send them to us. Here's my feedback.

Reader Feedback from Last Issue:

"The Dream act is just that - A DREAM to law-breaking Illegals here & one NIGHTMARE to American citizens."

"[I]mmigrants need to be selected based upon their usefulness to the nation to which they ask to immigrate. I'm in favor of accepting refugees and exiles who face issues in their own nations, that's an act of charity and should be done as well. But uncontrolled mass migration, and especially by the unskilled from 3rd world locations? Absolutely NOT."

"My grandparents came into this country to live in freedom from Hitler and Castro. Both came and did what they had to do in order to become citizens. Both worked their tails off to make a better home for their family but they did it legally. People who have come into our country should have to also go through the legal process. If they don't they need to leave until they are willing to abide by the laws of the US. "

"One of my grandsons can't get the classes he needs to finish his senior at a California state college. His younger brother is having a similar problem at the local community college. They are told the colleges are short of money so can't offer more classes. Despite this, federal politicians are in favor of giving space in our colleges to ILLEGAL ALIENS?"
