Reader Feedback from Last Poll: Is the DREAM Act fair?

"It is hard enough for Americans to get into college, and illegals should not be given amnesty, number 1, and should not be taking up seats, probably on our dime, that Americans should have. I had a hard time getting my daughter into college and had to prove she was an American. This is disgusting!!"

"Not only is it unfair to legal citizens and legal residents, but it accommodates students who are not here legally and are not entitled to anything in this country as far as I'm concerned. The one exception might be a one-way ticket back to their country of origin."

"The Dream Act is nothing more than an Amnesty for illegal aliens who claim to be students. Let's educate our United States Citizen children first."

"I am a college student and it is really hard to pay for college (My divorced single mother of 3 who makes 50000 dollars a year is supposed to pay 13000 dollars a year for me to go to college because I can't get financial aid), I think we should let international students come here if they have VISAS and pay international tuition, which is higher than out of state tuition. Why should my family have to pay for people that aren't even American to go to school?"

Red Alert! Activating ALIPAC's Emergency systems 2

(Mailing list information, including unsubscription instructions, is located at the end of this message.)

Friends of ALIPAC,

Please read and respond to this entire email very carefully.

We are activating ALIPAC's emergency email backup system today to assure that this message reaches all of our supporters. (Please contact us, if you DO NOT RECEIVE 2 copies of this email.)

We are ready to fight back against Obama and we are ready to make him and all of his open border allies pay for siding with illegal aliens against Americans in the Arizona court case. ALIPAC is entering a state of emergency operations to address acute challenges.

All ALIPAC activists who are online and in Arizona are asked to help us monitor the tense situation in Phoenix, where illegal alien supporters are threatening to storm Sheriff Joe Arpaio's jail house. If you pick up information about this, please post at this tracking link. ALIPAC will quickly inform our supporters by email, of any significant civil unrest that could pose a threat in the Phoenix area.

Action Item 3
A wave of anger and anguish is sweeping America. People now realize that President Obama has just helped illegal aliens win over Americans who are trying to defend their homes, jobs, communities, and lives.

We need you to reach out to others in person, online, and on talk radio shows to channel that backlash into ALIPAC and the elections.

Obama has won a battle that will cost him dearly in the war. We are 96 days away from midterm elections and the number of politicians who will lose their jobs in November has just risen due to the actions taken by Obama and this Clinton appointed Judge Susan Bolton. We all must organize to assure the backlash is structured.

Help us channel the wave of anger into a political revolution in the 2010 elections! Let's throw out all these pro-Amnesty politicians on both the state and federal levels!

MASS MEDIA

ALIPAC was fighting against Amnesty supporters on MSNBC today at 12 noon Eastern time. We were on FOX yesterday. We will upload the MSNBC coverage soon.

A Fox News article about our 'Safe Departure' recommendation was the top story on the Drudge Report for most of the day yesterday. Drudge is one of the most well read news websites in the world.

Special thanks to all of you who have helped ALIPAC spread versions of Arizona's SB 1070 to 20 other states that are now considering the proposal. ALIPAC's map showing your work was used on CBS news with Katie Couric last light. Our goal of showing the nation Arizona does not stand alone has been accomplished and the state map they displayed sourced "Americans for Legal Immigration PAC"

ALIPAC comments opposing Obama and McCain's Amnesty plans, opposing Judge Bolton's ruling against Arizona, supporting Arizona, and encouraging illegal aliens to leave America on their own have been reported widely in the last 48 hours.

ALIPAC's recent efforts can be seen in AOL News, the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, The Washington Post, World Net Daily, and many other publications. We are collecting these reports on the homepage at www.ALIPAC.us for you to review.

ALIPAC has also conducted interviews on more than 15 talk radio shows across America in the last 48 hours!

We are representing you and showing that while we win some battles and lose others we are fighting hard and being successful with our efforts to reach out to America on your behalf.

New supporters are streaming in due to our high level of media exposure.

ALIPAC's mass media message has helped in several ways. More people know illegals are and will continue to self-deport. More people know that Obama is a traitor. More people know that Americans like us are organized and fighting back. More people know that Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty is not necessary to deal with illegal immigration.

Volunteer assembled letters are arriving in many of your mailboxes to help us do what we must do to win in 96 days! ALIPAC volunteers plan to assemble to create a phone bank to help us support our candidates starting next week!

We are on the move, please respond to these emergency alerts and take action to help save America NOW!

President and Judge Thwart Democracy, Side With Illegals Vs. Americans

ALIPAC
July 28, 2010

CONTACT: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)
(866) 703-0864 WilliamG@alipac.us

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC has been conducting TV, Radio, and newspaper interviews all day about the group's "Safe Departure" request for Obama to allow illegal immigrants to leave the nation unhindered at border checkpoints when news of the court ruling on the Arizona law came in.

ALIPAC issues the following official statements.

"There is a sense of extreme anger sweeping America today, in reaction to the news that Obama and US District Judge Susan Bolton thwarted Democracy in America. We are appealing to Americans to remain calm and to channel that anger into sweeping politicians, business leaders, and special interest groups that support Comprehensive Immigration Reform out of power in the elections. ALIPAC stands ready to lead that effort."

"President Obama and Judge Bolton just sided with illegal aliens against the American public. The will of the American public has been usurped."

"The President is required by the US Constitution to protect all states from invasion, while assuring states a Republic form of governance. With this court case Obama has deprived Americans of both!"

"It is hard to find the words to express the anger and dismay this decision brings. It is a sad day in America, when part of our own government has turned against the American public on behalf of invaders."

ALIPAC Asks For Safe Passage Out of America for Illegals

ALIPAC
July 27, 2010

CONTACT: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC
(866) 703-0864 WilliamG@alipac.us

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is asking American citizens to contact the White House and the Department of Homeland Security to request that "safe departure" border checkpoints be established to offer safe passage to illegal immigrants who are leaving Arizona and leaving the United States in response to state level enforcement of existing federal laws and Constitutional provisions.

Arizona is reporting a mass exodus of illegal aliens who are selling their property and moving to other states or back to Central and South America. This pattern of a peaceful and gradual exodus mirrors reports from other states that have passed immigration enforcement laws.

Illegal immigrants detected trying to get into or out of the United States at border patrol checkpoints will be barred from applying to legally immigrate to the US for a minimum of ten years. Safe departure checkpoints would allow illegal alien families to depart the US without fear or hindrance.

"We are asking the Obama administration to designate border checkpoints that illegal immigrants can use to leave the US, without fear of detention or prosecution for immigration crimes," said William Gheen. "The peaceful and gradual exodus of illegals from Arizona shows there is no need for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty. Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement works and has the desired effect without mass deportations."

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC represents the views of a vast majority of Americans who simply want our existing border and immigration laws adequately enforced. Increased enforcement on the state level, combined with the bad economy, has led to a reversal in illegal immigration.

While thousands of illegal aliens, many carrying drugs, sneak into America with paramilitary gangs each night, many more are leaving America than are coming in according to government sources, pro-amnesty sources, and pro-enforcement sources. Illegals are leaving because of the economy, state level enforcement, and increasing animus from the American population representing all races.

"This is about the only situation we would ever advocate that our immigration laws be waived, we want to encourage the illegals to leave America on their own and thus we ask Obama to provide them safe passage out of America," said William Gheen.

If the Obama administration will designate "Safe Departure" border crossings and release these locations to the Spanish media, more illegals will leave in an orderly fashion, instead of trying risky dessert crossings, paying money to the cartels for passage south, or fleeing to other states.

Citizens can make their appeals to Obama and Homeland Security by calling White House 202-456-1414 and DHS 202-282-8000

Special Planning Request

Click Banner To Donate to our Funds Drive
Click Banner To Donate to our Funds Drive
Friends of ALIPAC,

We are possibly going to enter an emergency mode here at ALIPAC for several reasons.

One, we must take extra measures to secure our minimal operations budget and possibly some funds to help defeat McCain. The situation in Arizona is dire and more help is needed.

We are also concerned that special circumstances could arise from either the explosive violence that is starting to spill over our border with Mexico or a possible violent reaction from some illegals in response to the SB 1070 implementation.

We are considering a state of emergency operations for the ALIPAC organization to help see our mission through and to provide uninterrupted communications to our supporters regardless of hurdles that may present with online communications.

At this time we are calling for volunteers and materials in the Raleigh, NC area.

Please reply to this email with your name and number and some details if you live within a 1 hour drive of Raleigh, NC and....

1.  You would be willing to volunteer some of your time for an emergency phone bank to help ALIPAC reach donors and voters, on the weekends or specified weeknights 5pm-11pm.

2.  If you have any spare computers, tables, desks, chairs, or other office furnishings you could donate or lend to us for our outreach center.

3.  If you have or know of any office space that could be donated or rented to us at affordable rates for the next few months, possibly through the November elections.

We are looking into possibly creating an emergency phone bank and command center in Raleigh to help us do what needs to be done to raise funds, inform voters, support candidates, and coordinate our supporters across America in the event of a local, regional, or national immigration related emergency.

Please respond with the word Volunteer or Materials in your subject line if you are interested in helping and are near Raleigh, NC.

We will keep you posted if things develop.

Sincerely,

William Gheen

Senate Blocks DeMint's Effort to Stop Arizona Lawsuit

Senate Blocks DeMint’s Effort to Stop Arizona Lawsuit

The DeMint Amendment to de-fund the federal lawsuit against Arizona was defeated last week by a 55-43 procedural vote, with no debate or final vote on the amendment allowed. (Roll Call Vote #214, July 21, 2010). As FAIR reported last week, Senators Jim DeMint (R-SC) and David Vitter (R-LA) introduced the amendment to the small business bill (H.R.5297) that would deny the federal government funding to sue Arizona over its recently enacted immigration enforcement law, SB 1070. Before the vote, DeMint defended SB 1070 and argued that the Obama administration is suing Arizona for enforcing laws the federal government has chosen to ignore. “This bill is very clear. Its intent is to support and enforce the federal law, to protect the citizens of Arizona. Our federal government should be doing its job to secure our borders rather than trying to bully and intimidate the people of Arizona. We should not be suing and really hassling the people of Arizona for doing what we should be doing here, and that is protecting the citizenry.”

Illegal Aliens Demand DREAM Act During D.C. Protest

Hundreds of illegal alien students staged a protest near the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. last week demanding Congress grant them amnesty.  Dressed in caps and gowns, they held a mock graduation ceremony in a church and lobbied members of Congress to pass the DREAM Act, a broad amnesty measure disguised as an educational initiative that would allow millions of illegal aliens under the age of 35 who meet a very loose definition of “student” or serve in the military to qualify for green cards. The DREAM Act also allows states to grant in-state tuition benefits for illegal aliens, displacing legal residents competing for a fixed number of college admission slots and taxpayer subsidies.

ACLU, MALDEF Sue Fremont, Nebraska over Immigration Ordinance

Last Wednesday, the ACLU and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) filed separate lawsuits in Omaha’s U.S. District Court seeking an immediate injunction of the city of Fremont’s new immigration ordinance. Both suits also seek to invalidate the ordinance on constitutional grounds, charging the law violates the Supremacy Clause “because it attempts to regulate matters that are exclusively reserved to the federal government.” In addition, the ACLU charged that the Fremont law would encourage “discrimination and racial profiling against Latinos and other who appear to be foreign born, including U.S. citizens.”

National Guard Troops Head to Border August 1

Senior Homeland Security officials announced last week that the 1,200 National Guard Troops President Obama agreed to send to the U.S.-Mexico border would begin arriving August 1st. According to National Guard Bureau Chief General Craig McKinley, who joined Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Alan Bersin and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director John Morton at a Pentagon press conference last week, the troops deployed will consist of entry identification teams and criminal intelligence analysts. The entry identification teams will assist Customs and Border Protection personnel and the criminal intelligence analysts will assist ICE.

With FAIR’s Assistance, Members of Congress File Amicus Brief in U.S.A. v. Arizona

Eighty-one Members of Congress 76 Representatives and five Senators filed an amicus brief last week in U.S.A. v. Arizona to voice their support for Arizona’s new immigration enforcement law, SB 1070. The amicus brief (also known as a “friend of the court” brief) was filed to ensure that the Obama Administration’s voice was not the only voice that Judge Susan Bolton, the presiding judge in the federal lawsuit against Arizona, considered as she decides whether to issue a preliminary injunction against the law.

ADVISORY: Los Zetas Ranch Occupation Story Is Probably Bogus

ALIPAC
Friends of ALIPAC, bloggers, leaders, and members of the media,

As the primary focal point of information flows regarding the borders and illegal immigration, ALIPAC has both released astounding information to the public that was verified and we have stopped stories that were fakes.

Many of you will remember the fake Shawna Ford photos, and some other false stories and rumors that ALIPAC took steps to quell.

Today, we are issuing an advisory that the story being circulated on many blogs titled "Mexican Cartels Invade Texas" or "LOS ZETAS TAKES OVER TEXAS RANCHES" that was written by blogger Dan Amato aka Digger is unconfirmed. In fact, it is starting to look like it is completely false.

While we will hold the door open for the possibility there's some fire with this smoke, the story claims that the paramilitary drug and alien importing gang Los Zetas had invaded our side of the border and taken over several ranches in the US thus sending the American occupants running for their lives.

In the past, materials from Dan Amato were welcome at ALIPAC, but his materials are no longer allowed in our archives after we observed Digger writing and attempting to publicize false information on multiple occasions.

The current story he has circulated has not been confirmed using any of the standards or practices we would use, or any professional would use, to verify before releasing such claims.

Claiming that military grade forces have actually seized US territory is not a matter that should be treated lightly. The threat of that happening is very real and the intense and costly reaction to such an incident is nothing to take chances with. Dan Amato took a lot of chances and ran a story that was just a rumor.

Now we have reports from local law enforcement, local media, and citizens who live in the area Digger claims is under Los Zeta occupation and they all say there's nothing like that happening in the area.

While ALIPAC has documented, and fought against, many legitimate media blackouts on stories like these, we are not seeing the usual patterns that we have experienced before around this story. This coupled with the fact that Digger of Digger's Realm BLOG acted on complete hearsay from a lone second hand source might indicate that a media blackout is not the true problem.

We will advise everyone, if this story changes or actual verification or evidence surfaces.

Until then we are advising everyone not to post or circulate the unverified claims by Digger that Los Zetas has taken over ranches in Texas.

Furthermore, no new materials by Dan Amato or Digger's Realm are allowed in ALIPAC's archives because those materials do not meet our quality standards and we have a big problem with groups or individuals who make sensational claims without proper verification and confirmation that our readers and activists would expect.
