ALIPAC Moves To Defeat New AgJobs Amnesty Bill HR 4916

Please join us on the phones to DC to tell Republican lawmakers that "any support or votes in favor of Agjobs Amnesty bill HR 4916 will make illegal immigration worse, hand permanent political power to the socialist wing of the Democratic Party, and cost Republicans support in the 2020 elections!"

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC activists are launching a campaign today to slow, stop, or defeat the new illegal immigrant Amnesty bill HR 4916 introduced by Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA).

While the bill has bipartisan support, ALIPAC believes the Amnesty bill will convert millions of illegals into US citizens, tilting all future national elections, and many states over to the socialist wing of the Democratic Party permanently as American voters and workers cannot compete with unending waves of illegals from around the world.

"We have defeated AgJobs Amnesty bills like HR 4916 before because Amnesty bills would encourage millions of future illegals to enter the US while rewarding left wing politicians and candidates and greedy corporations with a new population to be intentionally used to displace and replace Americans in our jobs, elections, schools, health care resources, and communities," explained William Gheen, President of ALIPAC.us.

The text of HR 4916 indicates the bill would give current illegal immigrants Amnesty, work permits, green cards, and a path to citizenship.

The current Republicans trying to join with Democrats to pass this Amnesty bill as cosponsors of HR 4916 are Reps Dan Newhouse (R-WA), Michael Simpson (R-ID), Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), Doug Lamalfa (R-CA), Mark Amodei (R-NV), James Baird (R-IN), Susan Brooks (R-IN), Tom Cole (R-OK), John Curtis (R-UT), Rodney Davis (R-IL), Bob Gibbs (R-OH), Cathy McMorris-Rogers (R-WA), Paul Mitchell (R-MI), Devin Nunes (R-CA), Tom Reed (R-NY), Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Steve Stivers (R-OH), Fred Upton (R-MI), Don Young (R-AK), Greg Waldon (R-OR), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), and Lloyd Smucker (R-PA).

ALIPAC activists are calling Republicans in the US Congress today to remind them that any support or votes for a bill like Lofgren's HR 4916 will cost GOP candidates support both individually and nationwide.

ALIPAC believes that strong majorities of America's legal citizens oppose any form of Amnesty for illegal immigrants and the organization has played a strong role in defeating numerous Amnesty bills since 2004.

ALIPAC is the only national organization opposing illegal immigration that has not joined the larger DC-based organizations trying to cut an ill-advised deal on Amnesty for illegals.
