Does YOUR Member of Congress Support True Immigration Reform?
Dear FAIR Supporter,
FAIR is sending this alert to let you know we have just released our latest Voting Report for all 535 Members of Congress. We hope this report gives you insight into how your lawmakers have tackled the complex and thorny issue of immigration during the 113th Congress. This report contains the most import immigration votes held in 2013 and 2014 with respect to promoting good immigration policy.
Although the 113th Congress saw fewer bills passed than any other Congress in recent history, both chambers did consider several key immigration bills over the past two years. Specifically, this report contains the votes on:
Granting amnesty to illegal aliens and significantly increasing legal immigration (S. 744, the Schumer-Rubio mass guest worker amnesty bill)
Nominating pro-amnesty USCIS Director Mayorkas to become DHS Deputy Secretary
Ending President Obama’s administrative amnesty programs
Closing loopholes in the tax code exploited by illegal aliens
Funding to address the surge of unaccompanied alien minors crossing the border unlawfully
If your Senators and Representatives voted for true immigration reform, you will see a green plus sign (+). If your Senators and Representatives opposed true immigration reform, you will see a red minus sign (-).
We encourage all of our members to review the Voting Report and learn more about how their lawmakers are representing them. You can access the Report here.
