During a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) oversight hearing on Thursday before the House Judiciary Committee, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson admitted state laws like California's, giving various licenses to illegal aliens, reduce the likelihood that the illegal aliens will ever choose to leave the country. 3. This Date in Obama's Administrative Amnesty: June 2, 2010
On this date four years ago, the Obama Administration filed an amicus brief on behalf of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce asking the U.S. Supreme Court to strike down a 2007 Arizona law that punishes employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens. Read more

 

4. 'Shamnesty' Given New Meaning
The term 'shamnesty' was coined to characterize a proposed amnesty passed off as 'earned legalization.' It was still an amnesty but the public was being told that it was something different. Read more
