King County, Washington to Ignore ICE Detainers The Metropolitan King County Council passed Ordinance 2013-0285 by a vote of 5 to 4, prohibiting county law enforcement from honoring federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers for aliens except in a very limited number of circumstances.
