FBI Uncovers Largest Human-Trafficking Case in U.S. History

FBIOn September 2, a federal grand jury indicted six alleged smugglers in what the FBI has called the largest human-trafficking case in U.S. history.  In the indictment, the government alleges that the defendants, four of whom are employees of the Los Angeles-based labor recruiting firm, Global Horizons Manpower Inc., conspired and devised a scheme to obtain the labor of approximately 400 Thai nationals by enticing them to come to the United States through the H-2A agricultural guest worker program during 2004 and 2005 with false promises of lucrative jobs.

Pew Report: Illegal Immigration Slows in 2009

Pew Hispanic CenteThe rate of illegal immigration to the U.S. has slowed in 2009 according to the latest Pew Hispanic Center report. The report, released on September 1, 2010, revealed that the annual inflow of unauthorized immigrants to the U.S. was nearly two-thirds smaller in the March 2007 to March 2009 period than it had been from March 2000 to March 2005. According to the Pew Hispanic Center, the annual inflow rate slowed by eight percent:

FAIR Continues to Fight for Arizona

ArizonaOn September 2, 2010, 66 members of Congress—five Senators and 61 Representatives—filed an amicus brief in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals appealing Judge Susan Bolton’s decision in the U.S. Justice Department’s suit against the State of Arizona over SB 1070. The brief, which was drafted with the assistance of the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) and the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), was the second amicus brief to be filed by members of Congress who support SB 1070. The first brief was filed on July 20, 2010 before Judge Bolton handed down her decision enjoining several key provisions of the Arizona law, largely adopting the arguments made by the U.S. Justice Department.

Emergency measures at ALIPAC: 3 Warnings You Need To Know

ALIPAC
Friends of ALIPAC,

First and foremost our mission is to get as many voters, volunteers, and donations to our endorsed candidates as possible. It is up to the over 30,000 of you to step up to the plate.

If you do not realize that you must take action and combine your time and funds behind these candidates and that our only hope for a peaceful reversal of illegal immigration is in the elections in less than 60 days, then you only have a few days to understand that and react appropriately...

Please check our endorsements page often and make notes and print copies.

EMERGENCY MEASURES

WARNING 1:Please write down the ALIPAC phone numbers and make notes about our other websites like www.WilliamGheen.com and www.EndIllegalImmigration.comin case our main website at ALIPAC.us is taken over by this legal shake down we face.

The attorney who is trying to sue us and many other online communities, like the Sharron Angle campaign and FreeRepublic. If we refuse to pay them off with thousands of dollars of your money, they have requested that the judge give them control of ALIPAC.us so they can shut us down and sell our domain name.

If this happens, it will be as if someone lobotomized the Internet taking out the largest memory segment on the topics of illegal immigration, DC lawmakers and immigration issues, campaigns and elections regarding amnesty, and much more.

IF ALIPAC.us goes down for more than two hours or a new website appears or a new message from the RightHaven groups try to take control of our website, then check our other websites for information or call our numbers at (919) 787-6009 Toll Free: (866) 703-0864 to try and locate further emergency instructions and information.

We plan to fight them every step of the way with all that we can muster, but please know they intend to either extort money or completely silence us and stop us from being able to reach you and others like you.

If you receive ALIPAC's notices via Twitter, Myspace, or Facebook then please make sure you sign up for our email alerts at www.ALIPAC.us

If you receive our email alerts, also consider joining us on Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter.

We need ALIPAC supporters to make sure we have at least 2 ways to contact you for the sake of your safety during this time.

WARNING 2:

Many of the 90% of you who have not donated to ALIPAC in 2010 should be hearing from our very limited number of volunteers in Raleigh by phone soon. Please be kind to our volunteers and try to help them. Unless more of you respond to our efforts to get you organized, our phone bank and our campaigns will fail.

We are trying to cut through some of the panic out there and get Americans better organized immediately!

We fully sympathize with all of the suffering that is going on among our supporters. It is as though an economic bomb has gone off and many are suffering, but we must get you organized and we must get you combining your time and funds behind this effort to support these candidates.

No matter how tough your circumstances may be at this time, please picture what life will be like if Obama turns more than 12 million illegals into voters and watch as the next wave of ten million illegals start landing in your front yard shortly thereafter.

Some of the emails like this one, or the calls you receive from our volunteers may end up being some of the last conversations you get to have on these matters if we fail.

You will not be asked to donate or volunteer to help campaigns and stop Amnesty anytime in the foreseeable future should this Amnesty pass, and this Amnesty will pass unless you stand up and unify and do what must be done before November 2!

Just voting will not be enough. Each of us must do more, each of us must sacrifice, and each of us must FOCUS!

Americans, you must get the message to "Move It or Lose It!"

WARNING 3:

Please stay focused on the campaigns and elections that need our help no matter what happens.

There are many things that may occur over the next sixty days. There could be further economic collapse, there could be a new terrorism attack, ALIPAC could be taken offline and have to rely on phones and mail, civil unrest could begin in America. DC politicians may try to distract you by pushing Dream Act Amnesty or Agjobs Amnesty legislation to draw your focus away from the elections.

Remember that these corrupt DC politicians and the billion dollar influence that has bought, paid, and sustained them, want the American public to be distracted from the election at all costs!

We intend to send you more information on how you can make sure your activism, volunteerism, and donations can have the maximum impact and influence soon.

In closing, while many daunting challenges face us as a nation, organization and individuals, please picture how good it will feel on November 3, 2010 if we make history the day before and sweep congress.

For things to improve for ourselves and all American citizens, Americans must retake control of our government through the elections that are being decided now.

Picture yourself watching videos or coming to DC with us for the swearing in of these new members of Congress in Jan 2011 when we are victorious and ready to start dismantling Obama's amnesty plans and the Open Borders Lobby traitors who have done this to our nation.

Victory is within our grasp and we don't want to lose this battle. The illegals are on the run and the pro Amnesty members of Congress are in retreat at this moment while an unprecedented number of candidates are saying they stand with us Against Amnesty.

Please take our suggestions to heart and help us get everyone on the same page, focused, and ready for action.

Sincerely,

William Gheen

Raleigh area ALIPAC supporters needed ASAP

ALIPAC
Friends of ALIPAC,

We need immediate volunteers for our phone bank in Raleigh. If some of you are interested in employment, we can try to turn this effort into a part-time job for those who do well.

We formed this call center office to help ALIPAC raise the funds we need to survive this bad economy as an organization. We also formed this phone center to help our small army of candidates out there who have sworn they will oppose Amnesty and use the power of Congress to reign in President Obama's amnesty plans.

We cannot fail, we only have 60 days till the elections that will decide the fate of America.

We need immediate volunteers. If you are unable to donate to ALIPAC because of your financial situation, come work with us and we will try to create some paid positions for those who need them.

While several ALIPAC supporters responded to an earlier request for volunteers, only one has shown up to help so far.

I am going into the new office Tuesday night to make these calls personally and I need your help.

Hundreds of you are within the Raleigh area, and we need you to take action.

Everyone says they care about ending illegal immigration, well here is a chance for you to show you really mean it.

These La Raza activists are hitting the streets, pressuring lawmakers and making calls to take your nation from you. Where are you?

If you are willing to come in and help us this week between the evening hours of 5:30-10:30pm or next weekend, or if someone you know is unemployed or under employed, have them contact me.

The statistics say that 25 million of my fellow Americans are unemployed or under employed. From my conversations with many ALIPAC supporters I'm told that many of you can barely make ends meet, cannot pay the mortgage, and are using credit cards for gas, etc...

Well if all that is true, please contact me about coming in to work in our phone center.

I hope to hear from many ALIPAC supporters who are willing to work hard for our cause soon.

We must have Raleigh area volunteers who are willing to donate time to our cause and supporters who need to earn funds part-time to step up to the plate immediately.

Please email me with your name, phone number, distance from Raleigh, and your available hours in the evenings and on weekends.

Sincerely,

William Gheen

Federal Candidates in six states join call to oppose Amnesty

ALIPAC
September 3, 2010

CONTACT: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)
(866) 703-0864 WilliamG@alipac.us

ALIPAC is endorsing a new round of Federal candidates who have indicated they oppose President Obama's Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty plans and favor enforcing America's existing immigration and border laws instead, which is expected to generate a continued exodus of illegal aliens out of America.

Today ALIPAC is endorsing US Senate Candidate Davis Westlake of Wisconsin, and Congressional candidates who include Sandy Adams of Florida, Delia Lopez of Oregon, Lee Byberg of Minnesota, Ted Danz of New York, and Mike Crane in Georgia!

"We have a real political revolution on our hands involving the illegal immigration issue in America," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "We are seeing more candidates openly line up against the push for Amnesty in DC than ever before and we applaud these brave Americans for standing with the American public against Amnesty."

Today ALIPAC is endorsing Republican US Senate Candidate Dave Westlake who is running in the GOP Primary in Wisconsin to be decided September 13. Westlake has indicated he will oppose Obama's Amnesty for illegal aliens and will use the full power of his office to restore the Rule of Law in America.

ALIPAC believes that Dave Westlake is the best candidate to defeat incumbent Senator Russ Feingold who supports mass Amnesty for illegal aliens through Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Feingold also has an F- grade on immigration issues through NumbersUSA due to his support for unnecessary worker visas, benefits for illegal aliens, and reduced border security.

ALIPAC is also endorsing Sandy Adams for Congress in Florida's 24th District. Adams narrowly defeated Karen Diebel in the GOP Primary. Both Adams and Diebel have signed ALIPAC's pledge to reign in Obama's executive order Amnesty plan.

ALIPAC is also endorsing Delia Lopez Oregon's District 3 who is running against illegal alien Amnesty supporter Earl Blumenauer.

Lee Byberg is a Republican challenger facing Democratic incumbent Collin Peterson in Minnesota's 7th District. Peterson has a D grade at NumbersUSA and his campaign website avoids the topic of immigration, likely due to his support for Amnesty. Lee Byberg is a better choice for Congress because he has signed ALIPAC's pledge to oppose Amnesty and his campaign website says he will secure our borders and "support legislation that will rid us of illegal aliens through attrition".

ALIPAC is endorsing Ted Danz a Republican Challenger in New York's 21st District for his opposition to Amnesty, his inclusion of his immigration positions on his website, and his promise to use the power of Congress to compel President Obama to secure our borders. Danz is running against incumbent Democrat Paul Tonko who has an F- score at NumbersUSA due to his support for Comprehensive Amnesty for illegal aliens. While Danz proudly displays his support for immigration enforcement, Tonko is concealing his pro-Amnesty immigration stances by giving them no mention on his campaign website.

ALIPAC is endorsing Mike Crane for Congress in Georgia's 13th District. Crane won a crowded GOP Primary to face David Scott who has has a D grade at NumbersUSA for his support of Amnesty for illegals. Immigration is not mentioned on Scott's website, yet Mike Crane's campaign website has a detailed explanation of his plan to crack down on illegal immigration. Mike Crane was the only candidate in the race for Georgia's 13th district to fill out ALIPAC's candidate survey and sign the pledge. ALIPAC is pleased to see the candidate with clearest views on immigration winning the primary and mounting a strong challenge against an incumbent.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, founded 9/11/2004, is the nation's largest political action committee endorsing candidates opposed to Comprehensive Amnesty. These six new endorsements bring ALIPAC's total endorsements up to 132. ALIPAC's goal is to channel as many votes, volunteers, and contributions behind this army of candidates.

ALIPAC Responds to Ambush Copyright Lawsuit Over Harry Reid

ALIPAC Responds to Ambush Copyright Lawsuit Over Harry Reid

For National Release

September 1, 2010

CONTACT: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC
(866) 703-0864 WilliamG@alipac.us

ALIPAC is responding to an ambush lawsuit filed by RightHaven LLC & Las Vegas Review-Journal alleging copyright infringement by William Gheen and the national illegal immigration fighting group Americans for Legal Immigration PAC which hosts the largest archive of information in existence on the topics of border security and illegal immigration.

"We stand ready to defend our free political speech and the free speech of all Americans against predatory companies like RightHaven and biased newspapers that would use the courts to try to generate revenue and silence the free speech of Americans," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "We intend to defend our organization, our rights, and our good name with every possible resource."

"RightHaven is suing ALIPAC over an article titled "'Latino Summit': (US Senator) Reid addresses Hispanic issues", which ran in the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Feb. 18, 2010. The article describes US Senator Harry Reid's promises to a Latino group that he would support a form of Amnesty for illegal aliens in America. The article also describes how many Democrats are backing away from Reid's Amnesty legislation due to "recent loss of several high-profile seats to Republicans"

Senator Reid is in a close race with Republican challenger Sharon Angle who has recently been described by a new Political Action Committee called Immigrants List as "among biggest obstacles to immigration reform" Amnesty.

RightHaven is asking a judge to give them full control of ALIPAC's Internet domain www.ALIPAC.uswhich would allow them to shut down the entire website over the article about Senator Reid's support for Amnesty.

ALIPAC's first notice of a copyright dispute came in the form of a Google alert indicating a court document had been filed, followed by an e-mail of inquiry from a reporter for the Las Vegas Sun. Righthaven LLC is a new company formed in March of 2010 that goes around filing lawsuits without warning against bloggers hoping for a quick settlement of $3-$5,000.

ALIPAC archives articles from online publications as part of the groups rights under the Fair Use Act and as expressions of the group's members freedoms of political speech. In the six years ALIPAC has been in operation no other media outlet or company has chosen to challenge ALIPAC's rights in court, although materials from all major news publications are archived at www.ALIPAC.us

In the few cases where source publications have requested the removal of materials, those requests have been granted by ALIPAC. ALIPAC received no request from Las Vegas Review-Journal or RightHaven, just an Ambush lawsuit.

ALIPAC's archives have revolutionized the Internet's long term memory on subjects regarding illegal immigration. The archives are utilized without charge by American citizens, lawmakers, candidates, reporters, law enforcement agents, students, and others seeking greater knowledge about this important national issue.

"For American citizens to make proper choices and to be able to understand a complex political issue like illegal immigration, they need full access to articles and information across a period of many years," said William Gheen. "Our non-profit political action committee will not stop providing this service to American citizens as our volunteer work is a critical element of a national political debate. We are seeking legal representation today to defend our rights and to look into filing lawsuits against Righthaven and the Las Vegas Review-Journal for attempting to violate our Civil Rights and trying to prevent our public participation."

"We will not allow ourselves or the online communities of America debating political issues to be intimidated or silenced by the aggressive legal ambush tactics of Righthaven and Las Vegas Review-Journal," said William Gheen.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC will be reaching out to supporters across America for financial and legal assistance in this matter. ALIPAC is America's third largest grassroots organization fighting for secure borders. With over 30,000 supporters nationally, the group does not intend to pay Righthaven a single dime, much less the thousands of dollars they usually extort from bloggers who cannot afford to defend themselves.
